The New Family SUV from ISUZU Now in Bahrain. Off-road Meets Family
The launch gathered Motorcity top management, ISUZU officials as well as ISUZU customers in a special event on Tuesday 3rd of March, 2015 at the Motorcity Commercial Vehicles Showroom in Nuwaidrat.

The mu-X inherits the famed D-MAX DNA and offers high fuel efficiency which makes it environmental friendly. The mu-X provides more opportunities for everyone to enjoy a lifestyle with their family and friends.
The All New ISUZU mu-X strikes a commanding stance thanks to its wedge-shaped facia and muscular flared wheel arches. Flowing lines create a balanced profile that is at home in the city as it is in the bush. Available in three different spec levels, the ISUZU MU-X is designed with all the features required to suit any driving purpose.
From one of the world’s leading manufacturer and pioneers of diesel technology, ISUZU’S Turbo Diesel Engine is very sporty. Delivering plenty of power and torque, this stirring power plant produces equally amazing fuel economy. The all new mu-X is as efficient as it gets thanks to its Variable Geometry System (VGS) turbo charger which alerts the direction of exhaust flow to optimize turbine response at low engine rpm to overcome ‘turbo lag’. In addition MU-X also benefits from the intelligent grade logic transmission which keeps the MU-X in the correct gear preventing over revving and fuel loss.
All 4x4 mu-X versions are fitted with the rugged off-road protection. There’s a front steel plate skid/splash shield as well as steel plate guards to protect the sump and transfer case. All 4x4 mu-X models are also equipped with ISUZU’s super-easy to use “Terrain command” 4WD select dial (2-high, 4-high and 4-low range) and auto versions are fitted with hill-ascent and descent control.
A new seat design with ‘wrap-around’ bolsters provide increased shoulder, back and base support delivering more comfort for occupants and all seats in all ISUZU mu-X models have adjustable headrests. Clever split/fold rear seats in both the second and third rows mean that no matter what seating configuration the driver chooses, the versatile interior will provide plenty of head, leg and shoulder room. The passive entry and start system allows the driver to lock and unlock the vehicle doors without touching a key, and to start or stop the engine simply by pushing the ignition button.
A premium audio system with 6 speakers plus 2 exciter roof-mounted speakers in top model and Bluetooth phone connectivity along with audio streaming are available.
The mu-X ensures safety on the road. Built around a high tensile steel passenger safety cell with side-intrusion bars, the mu-X carries comprehensive crash avoidance electronics including ABS with Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist as well as projector head lamps for maximum visibility. Dual front Airbags provides additional protection and peace of mind.
