2018 Chery Tiggo 7 Debuts in Bahrain

Motorcity, the exclusive dealer of Chery vehicles in Bahrain, has launched the much anticipated 2018 Chery Tiggo 7; the sporty, youthful flagship SUV.

The Tiggo 7 is the latest addition to the Chery line-up, building on the success of its predecessors, and deriving its bold design from the concept car showcased in Geneva, the all-new compact SUV boasts dynamic style and comfort coupled with best in class safety and tech features.

The dynamic SUV was awarded a C-ECAP gold medal evaluation with a high score of 81.31, earning itself the first place in “Green Certification”, proving Chery’s commitment to the environment and its forward looking strategy for sustainability.

The car comes in 3 trims; a 2.0 Comfort, a 2.0 Luxury and a 1.5 Luxury, offering a unique option for any budget and preference, all built on the durable and dynamic Chery chassis. It comes standard with a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder producing 121HP and CVT automatic, and a 1.5-litre turbo 4-cylinder and dual-clutch automatic which produces an impressive 145HP.

The new Chery features a dual-tone interior with a patch of stitched leatherette across the dashboard and onto the inner door handles, matching the leather seats. The 9-inch capacitive touchscreen includes multimedia features, a/c settings and vehicle settings, while there’s also a 4.8-inch LCD dashboard screen.

Other available features include smart keyless entry and start, dual-zone auto a/c and 360-degree camera as well as a panoramic roof. The Tiggo 7 received a five-star safety rating in the Chinese NCAP crash tests, the Chinese equivalent of the EuroNCAP, which is the regular. Safety features include ABS with EBD, ESP, hill-start, tyre-pressure monitor and 6 airbags.
